Marie-Louise Women's Leather Gloves Lined with Alpaca
Sporty and chic in style, The Marie-Louise leather gloves accompanies you through all moments of your life.
Designed, cut and manufactured in our workshops, this model, whose hand stitching requires three hours of artisanal work by a seamstress, bears witness to a unique savoir-faire. Over time, this stitch has become one of the main signatures of the House of Agnelle.
The Marie-Louise bears the first name of the first woman to run the Ganterie Agnelle in 1939 when the war and the resistance called Lucien her husband to the front. It was also her who, in 1953, created and commissioned the modernist factory that still houses the Agnelle workshops in the heart of the town of Saint-Junien in Limousin.
I love the Marie-Louise glove, because it fits perfectly with the hand stitching on the top of the hand and the inside of the palm. It shows the meticulous work of our glove makers and is recognisable at first glance. Marie-Louise is different and beautiful in each of our numerous colours.
After each use, stretch the leather in the direction of your fingers before storing it in its fabric pouch.
To shine your gloves, put on a glove and gently stroke the leather with the palm of your clean hand.
If a stain occurs, stretch your glove widthwise to pull the stain out of the skin and stroke the stained area with your clean thumb.
For fatty stains, good results are obtained with Terre de Sommière. For stubborn stains, take your glove to a leather cleaning specialist.
