Description

The Roxy women's fingerless gloves set a constellation shining on the back of the hand. Silver studs in different sizes trace a large star, followed by a second, finer star that shoots towards the fingers. Crafted from supple lambskin and lined with silk, they leave the fingers free for full dexterity. At the wrist, a slit on the palm side closes with a press stud for a precise fit. Designed by Maison Agnelle, French glovemaker since 1937.

The designer's opinion

Roxy is Roxane's rock-and-roll little sister. I kept her stars and cut off the fingers, for fingerless gloves with real attitude. The studs catch the light with every gesture, and the lambskin stays surprisingly soft. I wear them with a biker jacket and jeans by day, or with a black dress in the evening, rings on show: it's the touch that changes a whole outfit.

Agnelle: A Timeless Savoir-faire

The Agnelle ateliers were founded in 1937 in Saint-Junien, France’s “City of the Leather Glove”. The same craftsmanship continues to this day there, inscribing and galvanizing the Agnelle name in its time. For three generations, three visionary and determined women have transmitted the same savoir-faire for the production of the world’s most beautiful glove collections.

Agnelle remains to this day a discreet partner to the greatest fashion labels. In 2006, Agnelle was recognized as a “Living Heritage Enterprise" and since 2011, Agnelle is registered in UNESCO’s “Métiers d’Arts Rares.”
