Description

The LoveParis women's leather gloves carry a handwritten message, shared between both hands. One reads "love" across the back of the hand, the other "paris". The cursive letters, quilted and stitched in relief into the leather, unfold like a signature drawn in a single stroke. Crafted from supple lambskin, they are lined with alpaca for soft, enveloping warmth. At the wrist, a slit on the palm side closes with a press stud for easy wear. A tender pair full of character, to wear or to give. Designed by Maison Agnelle, French glovemaker since 1937.

The designer's opinion

LoveParis is a declaration you wear. I loved the idea that the message can only be read in full when you bring your hands together, a little like a secret being revealed. The raised cursive lettering keeps the spontaneity of a word scribbled on a postcard. I wear it with a camel coat or a trench, and it is also the gift I most love to offer to women who love Paris as much as I do.

Agnelle: A Timeless Savoir-faire

The Agnelle ateliers were founded in 1937 in Saint-Junien, France’s “City of the Leather Glove”. The same craftsmanship continues to this day there, inscribing and galvanizing the Agnelle name in its time. For three generations, three visionary and determined women have transmitted the same savoir-faire for the production of the world’s most beautiful glove collections.

Agnelle remains to this day a discreet partner to the greatest fashion labels. In 2006, Agnelle was recognized as a “Living Heritage Enterprise" and since 2011, Agnelle is registered in UNESCO’s “Métiers d’Arts Rares.”
