An Upcycling collection to discover

Description

New to the collection, the Bambix women's gloves are made for the coldest winter days. Crafted from shearling, they wrap the hand in dense, plush wool for exceptional warmth and comfort. On the back of the hand, an appliquéd leather stag's head adds a playful, cosy touch, finished with an Agnelle rivet. Visible seams trace the line of each finger. At the wrist, a generous fur cuff folds over a ribbed knit cuff that seals out the cold and slips easily under a coat sleeve. Designed by Maison Agnelle, French glovemaker since 1937.

The designer's opinion

Bambix is my chalet glove, the one I slip on as soon as the air turns crisp. Shearling holds warmth like no other material, and the knit cuff closes the door on the cold. I added this little stag for tenderness, a wink to mountain sweaters and snowy mornings. You put it on to stay warm, and you keep it on because it makes you smile.

Agnelle: A Timeless Savoir-faire

The Agnelle ateliers were founded in 1937 in Saint-Junien, France’s “City of the Leather Glove”. The same craftsmanship continues to this day there, inscribing and galvanizing the Agnelle name in its time. For three generations, three visionary and determined women have transmitted the same savoir-faire for the production of the world’s most beautiful glove collections.

Agnelle remains to this day a discreet partner to the greatest fashion labels. In 2006, Agnelle was recognized as a “Living Heritage Enterprise" and since 2011, Agnelle is registered in UNESCO’s “Métiers d’Arts Rares.”
