Description

New to the collection, the Be Paris women's leather gloves slip a touch of humour into a city silhouette. On the back, the phrase « Don't worry, be Paris » reads from one hand to the other, embroidered in thread like handwriting, a playful wink at a tune everyone hums. Crafted from exceptionally supple lambskin, they are lined with silk for a soft feel and light warmth. At the wrist, a slit closed with an Agnelle-engraved snap makes them easy to slip on and adjusts the fit. Available in white and black, they suit every city look. Designed by Maison Agnelle, French glovemaker since 1937.

The designer's opinion

Be Paris is a little philosophy I like to carry with me. You slip on your gloves, head into the city, and the message reminds you to take life lightly, the Parisian way. I wear them with a pea coat and raw denim, or with a very sharp black coat, so the embroidery brings a smile to a serious outfit. It's also the glove I love to give a friend who needs a little lightness.

Agnelle: A Timeless Savoir-faire

The Agnelle ateliers were founded in 1937 in Saint-Junien, France’s “City of the Leather Glove”. The same craftsmanship continues to this day there, inscribing and galvanizing the Agnelle name in its time. For three generations, three visionary and determined women have transmitted the same savoir-faire for the production of the world’s most beautiful glove collections.

Agnelle remains to this day a discreet partner to the greatest fashion labels. In 2006, Agnelle was recognized as a “Living Heritage Enterprise" and since 2011, Agnelle is registered in UNESCO’s “Métiers d’Arts Rares.”
